How Moby Dick Restaurant & Bar handles the details you share with us.
What we collect
When you request a table we ask for your name, phone number, the date, time and size of your party and, optionally, your email address, the occasion and any special requests such as allergies. If you tell us how you like your steak or which dishes you enjoy, we may note that too. Our staff may add notes about your visits so we can look after you better next time.
Why we use it
We use your details to handle your booking, to contact you about it, and to remember your preferences and visit history when you dine with us again. We do not sell your details.
Offers and news
We only send you offers or news if you tick the box on the booking form to say you would like them. You can withdraw that consent at any time by telling us at either restaurant or on the phone numbers on our Find Us page, and we will stop.
Who can see it
Only our team at Moby Dick, and the service providers we use to run this website and send booking emails, on our instructions. We keep your details for as long as we need them to run the restaurant and keep your booking history.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by contacting either restaurant. We handle personal data in line with Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020).
Cookies
This website uses the cookies it needs to work: one that protects our forms against forgery, and one that keeps staff signed in to the admin area.
If you accept, we also use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used, so we can improve the site. It sets cookies (_ga) and sends anonymous usage data, such as the pages you view and roughly where you are, to Google. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not link it to your booking details. Nothing is sent to Google unless you accept, and you can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page.
